The 20th Century Society of the Carolina Mountains is a not for profit organization dedicated to the art, architecture, and design of the 20th Century. Society members have a special interest in Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Art Moderne, and Mid-Century.

Society events and projects include:

• Travel to locations near and far to see 20th Century design.
• Preservation of significant architecture and historic sites.
• Museum tours.
• Cataloging, photographing, and investigating the history of important 20th Century structures in our region and sharing that information on our web site.
• Educational programs.
• Periodic educational publications.
• Invitations to member's homes to view their collections.

Social functions to promote fellowship among people with a common interest in 20th Century art, architecture, and design.
